What changed ?
For those who have been playing the demo, has anyone seen any changes which shed light as to why the game was delayed?
Are the graphics still 720p or did they get upgraded?
What about money maps?
Any changes at all??

Actually, they fixed the keybindings. There was a problem with ESC button when you couldnt open the menu in battle, because it was also asign to the cancel button.

It also runs way smoother for me. I couldnt get more than 21 FPS at 1080p, now I get a stable 30 FPS.

For all of those saying the game is blurry, try to turn off the Anti-Aliasing. After that the game stopped looking blurry for me.

Thanks for the tip, but it is still blurry.

Just finished Laharl`s DLC and when I select it again, I can only enter the first stage. Is this right?

Can you guys who have blurring post a screenshot? The game looks pretty sharp to me, although I don't know if it's supposed to be even sharper or not. There's some blurring in zoomed in situations like magichange, but I think that's working as intended. Anti-aliasing has a barely noticeable effect. Playing with 1080p borderless, vsync on at 60 hz. Steam fps counter is at a stable 60.

Actually, there is precisely ONE spot where I can see severe blurring, and that's the Steam overlay popup at the top right of the screen when I launch the game. EDIT: And I mean severe. The popup text is unreadable.

Yeah, seems like all the legacy character DLCs have three stages but the first stages are the only repeatable ones.

There's no blurring in character sprites, only in the UI. If you see any character blurring it's probably the AA setting or broken eyes.

My main concern is in a text heavy stat based game they opted for the lower res font as well :/

they are blurry, they leave my eyes tired , i am using a 1080p 23inch ips led monitor that(it was good like in 2012-2013) it is not a laptop crappy monitor , the diference between ps4 and pc is too much for me , and why pc version dont have money maps?

The problem is caused by the lower resolution sprites, both artwork and fonts, changing vsync, resolution etc will not fix that, only using the correct full resolution assets will fix it, you should have access to them from the PS4 build.

I'll say I don't see any difference between the character or environment graphics between the PC and PS4 versions based on Max's comparison shots, but that text isn't great. It's okay, certainly when I'm used to older games from the series, but it's quite clearly inferior in a way that no user-end graphics settings are going to fix.

The result varies depending on the size of your screen and your viewing distance. If your screen isn't too big, you might only notice a slight difference when comparing the shots, since your pixels are small. But the difference between a 1080p screen resolution and the 720p game resolution becomes more noticeable on a bigger screen. PC players are usually quite close to the screen so people with large screens are likely to notice these things. On the other hand, my buddy plays the 720p Switch version on a 55" television screen, but he's sitting way back on the sofa and says the game looks great.

It's as CyBeRDrizzt said. The problem lies with the game's graphics assets which seem to be from the Switch version and hence 720p. The blurring people are reporting most likely isn't a bug, it's a result of the assets being stretched to fill a large display screen (23" or larger) and playing close to the screen. Using the 1080p assets from the Playstation version would eliminate this problem and increase sharpness.

I play with 1920x1080 game resolution on a 19" screen with 1080p native resolution, borderless mode, resolution fit to window, vsync on. I posted screenshots above in this thread with AA both on and off. I don't see a problem when I play, but if I compare my screenshots to ones from the PS version I can see a difference in sharpness. My screen isn't large enough to turn that difference into a problem.
