Would love if folks added Soft cap all items. Would save me tons of wasted hours redoing leveling. I R
Also, you'll want to maybe equip Eclipse Power and get extra stats from defeating item bosses, invaders and mystery rooms (best one is the rush hour room).
And remember that you can still boost stats in battle via braveheart and other stats boosting skills.
I know eclipse power is doable but it is beyond slow due to "balancing".
Buff skills are good and all but i was wanting a natural stat maxer so im currently just grinding item levels now.
(And if you need your Armor skill up, just get hit. A lot. The Mirage level is handy for this. Especially if a Sage angers them all via mass-attack.)
When making a high-level item, for the best result you'll want to set the difficulty in the Cheat Shop at 20 stars, the item stats will raise and reach the cap much faster due to this.
(Though this may be difficult to pull off if you don't have the item in question to boost your stats, yet. I suppose in my case i started out with a 0-star difficulty item, got it to 1.6M stats, then made another.)
Speaking of caps... While items tend to cap at 2M stats, it can slightly go beyond, like 2.1 or 2.2M. In theory, at 20-star difficulty, if you play it right, you can get a item to 1.9M or 2.0M stats at item level 2000.
My preferred method is getting special bonus until it caps, which is gotten from beating Item Generals/Gods (if i got any Dive-10's, i use them to hop from boss floor to boss floor), Item World Bosses, defeating Invaders, and defeating Mystery Rooms. After that i ussually level the item up to 2000ish or beyond.
It can go to the cap faster if the item's natural stats are already high, like the Trapahezadon (or however you spell it), or Hercules' Armor. So it's a case of determining if you want a fast level-up or extra stats at the cost of lower levelling, such as say, the additional movement from Barefoot X (or whatever exactly the item name was).
And if i'm not mistaken, putting in Innocents that boost ATK/DEF/INT/RES/HIT/SPD/HP/SP exclusively will also increase a item's stats faster as you level it. Or so i heard, anyway. Dual-stat Innocents don't seem to work towards this goal, though, only ones that boost a single stat.
Like it was assumed and cause of that no answer was given for that. So thank you all for pointing out level up the items and i should hit my Cap goal as intended.
