Are the DLCs worth it?

I have two options: to buy the season pass on PS4 (platform which I have two copies for) or buy the complete game on Steam, and it's cheaper than the season pass itself. Preferably, I'd like to play on PS4 since it has online features. Also, how is the controller support? Does the DualShock 4 work well on the PC version with its buttons layout?

I've had no issue at all using a PS4 controller to play this game. I never played the console version so I can not comment on the online features but I did not miss them while playing.

Honestly, I don't think you're missing anything by skipping this version.
The DLC characters are kinda neat I guess, but there's only a handful that are useful for the post-game grind, and only 2 would I say are "must have" to speed things up dramatically. There are other DLC character evilities that are used in the setup for the video posted below, but you can overcome that by strengthening the involved characters via gear/extracts. Honestly, I'd probably just buy Metallia and Pram on PS4 individually and skip the PC version of the game.

Indispensable:
Metallia for capturing overload (extract farming)
Pram for 1-shotting the last Asagi (extract farming)

Pretty darn useful, but not necessary:
Zeta for overload (subclass farming)
Peta for overload (subclass farming), also shareable evility Critical Point (extract farming)
Raspberyl for Trash Pick Up (subclass farming)

Minor bonus to efficiency, but by far not necessary:
Salvatore for bonus to extortion (extract farming)
D4 Prinny Girl (name gets filtered on Steam, lol) for Prinny Hat (subclass farming)
Valvatorez for Prinny Instructor (subclass farming)
Desco for giving Metallia/Pram Final Boss Glare (extract farming)
Artina for giving Metallia/Pram Unconditional Love (extract farming)

Basically, using a combination of Zeta - Peta - Zeta overloads, you can increase your dispatch dramatically. Then, by creating a HUGE tower, magichanging your monsters and using the Prinny Hat and Prinny Instructor evilities for the bonus, you can max out a job on 30+ characters at once. A carnage R40 item on 20-stars, you can equip Trash Collector on someone and guaranteed destroy a geo symbol.

The Kunoichi class is completely busted.

That flame haze evility buffs all stats 10% permanently for the duration of the fight for every hit she dodges.

And if you just boost her speed as high as possible and get her dodging attacks her speed will also increase 10% every dodge making it more likely she’ll dodge the next attack.

Oh yeah she also has a skill that increases evasion temporarily.

I went out of my way to NOT unlock the kunoichi class.
They are a great class, but the caveat is that once you unlock a class, you'll start seeing it in IW.
Considering Kunoichi has a % chance to dodge area of effect attacks, this means more missing.

It's not like he needs anything special to be useful, he just needs to stand next to the damage dealer.
