Personally it's the fact that you can get massive stats that appeals to me, and I cannot find that in any other game.
Only played one fire emblem, and as far as I know, that series is a very strict rock parper scissor type game with perma death (not sure how three house is), so that really didn't appeal to me.
three house is story driven and you have dirffernt factions to join and you have the social aspect just like persona and hreres the review of it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmtgwkI8a1Q
oh well you see i like disgaea cause the endless lvling to 99999 and the massive stats just like you say that appeals to you
aww thats fine
Yeah, you do get very high stats, lots of big numbers everywhere. Both are pretty rough, though, and require way too much grinding to max out a character. Like, Disgaea makes that process easy enough, if sometimes long, but in Mugen Souls it takes so much grind to max out equipment it's not even funny. And the reincarnation system is pretty murky, too, especially when it comes to maxing base stats.
And don't even mention the grind to max the Peon Ball.
But on the upside, I liked the story (very Disgaea-ish I thought), I liked the characters (well, Chou-Chou at least), and I liked the art style. Could be fun for a while.
And if you can get an emulator going, Makai Kingdom, Soul Nomad and La Pucelle
In TO:LUCT, you can:
Grind out stats via tarot cards and a limited number of consumables.
Dive into a 100-floor dungeon with strong/unique loot
Use the spells Necro and Retissue to roll a character back to lvl1 with their stats intact.
Create super strong weapons with the "Snapshot" spell
Combine the 2 steps above to create weapons with 500 in all stats
Honestly, I think Tactics Ogre for the PS1 is the closest to a Disgaea game you can get outside of NIS.
