What's the point of the Tutor evility?

They all bring the rank of a weapon to C... which is useless, because I have a better rank in the weapon of my choice.
Can they be strenghtened to bring a given weapon mastery to rank A or even S?!

They are just the weakest version of the set, and are intended for characters with worse than C in a specific weapon type.

There are versions that go up to S rank, yes.

It is my understanding it just makes the character level that weapon type faster.

however, this is very easy and fast to max once you can generate enough mana to do character world infinitly since all you have to do is do a quick "demon" difficulty run and talk to the clone that increases any weapon rank of your choice to permanently get S rank on any or all weapons.

via character world from the obtain random evility. just ignore it and increase your weapon mastery like 1-5 times depending on your base rank with character world. it's way less annoying to hunt a specific top evility like that and shouldnt even take more then 10 minutes for a very low rank mastery.

on top of that, evility slots are WAY to valuable for something that can be gotten in like 10 minutes permanently lol

I agree on the slot being too valuable for that, I was just curious.
Also what's the character world? Could be I didn't unlocked it yet? (not sure, I am playing it in japanese, but the only "world" I can access right now is the item world)

All of the mastery tutor evilitys are worthless in my opinion. The Instructor Innocent does a better job training your weapon masteries.

Character World unlocks during Chapter 6 IIRC. It's a way to permanently increase various stats of your characters, such as Aptitude, Weapon/Armor Mastery rank, Move, Counters... You can also use it to learn new evilities, or create scrolls to each that characters skills/evilities to other characters.

I only use the weapon tutor evility scrolls for free mana at the skill shop. Y'know, chances are, everyone does that.

Weapon Mastery "maximaze" the stats of the weapon/armor you are using

Armor is raised by being hit and the weapons are raised when you do any kind of attack

Go chara and raise counter and go for a map with many enemies normally the maps with lots of zombies and just keep healing and ending turn or item world join the usefull with the usefull
