Why?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oVDSh_5c7A

I've tried to imitate this in the video, I've certainly done everything that is explained in the video.

Nevertheless, my damage does not seem to be sufficient, I use Metallia's Overload, I miss many of them about 1/5 of their HP and I catch about 70-80 of them.

Has that changed or does anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong?

Do you have a Professional innocent?
Lufia Nov 18, 2018 @ 3:58pm
Counter-question:
A) What is that? ^^
B) In the video and in the description of it is nothing, or am I wrong?
Binary Nov 18, 2018 @ 5:13pm
The first thing the description says is "MAKE SURE YOU HAVE 100 PROFESSIONALS ON METALLIA'S WEAPON"

Anyway, Professionals increase critical damage by 1% per level, up to 100%, and it's very important for damage.

Still, I'd recommend this guide instead, it's more detailed and much faster after the setup is done: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypN7OB19MgI

Description from the video:
Note that while I have 12m in status, that's just because of the squad bonus.
New Notes:
1. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE 100 PROFESSIONALS ON METALLIA'S WEAPON! Well actually you might can do without, but you would need to farm this on a lower difficulty a few times to get your stats up to compensate.
2. MAKE SURE TO HAVE SALVATORE IN INTERROGATION SQUAD AS LEADER, WITH HER EVILITY!

Requirements:
Evilities are much more simple for this version.
Metallia:
Unique: Assault Attack, Magic Bundle
Common: Shaking Excitement, Mental Pain, Purgatory, To the Death

Christo: Angel Song (unique from Celestial Host)

3 Celestial Hosts

Plenair: 2 global move evility

At least 1 set of LoC movement items (3 move per item).

Professor with high level magic boost.

High level Tera spell.

100% crit chance curry (don't put elixirs in it at all; put shoes or something).

You might need slightly over 10m stats (like 10.3) in order to do it in one run easily; just do a run or two on a slightly lower difficulty and use the extract. Note that having high HP boost Curry actually hurts you in this type of run. You want your fodder dead as soon as possible.

Also note that occasionally the boss might survive one double attack. Just keep a maid handy.

You will note that the very first point (in all caps) tells you to put a stack of 100 professionals on her weapon, and near the end it mensions the 100% crit chance curry.

As for what professional are, they are an innocent type that boosts the damage dealt by critical hits, which is coupled with 100 crit chance curry and various boosts like Christo's 100% accuracy, celestial hosts for power boost, evilities and so on.
This kind of setup if fairly common, the character used can differ, the overload or skill used can change, but this is a setup that aims to maximize the boosts in order to 1-shot the whole map (usually except the boss) on the second turn (because you are using your first turn to sacrifice 3 units to put your character in revenge mode).
Skelt Nov 18, 2018 @ 10:57pm
Crit chance curry is unnecessary if you plan on doing things fast while in revenge mode, you already have 100% crit.
That said, assuming you're following that video advices, and deployed the same characters with the right evilities, there are a lot of easy improvements you can do.

Try to get some "evil eye" evilities on deployed characters, it stacks till -50% stats (you can find it on "chimera" monsters)

Move Mao 2 or 3 panels close to Metallia, his evility stacks multiplicatively with other damage adjustments (note also that he doesn't increase the damage you take,it does that to enemies close to him, that's a translation mistake)

Increase the level of the "magic boost" buff on the professor.

@Milk+Fel
And I thought that means, I would have 100 at my weapon rank -.-
How can I get this Professional Innocence?

@Skelt
Maybe this is a stupid question, but if I use the Evility "Evil Eye", will that also decrease the quality of the prisoners and thus the quality of the Extracts?

The quality should be the same, i've captured quite a bit of "stats capped" enemies on a 20 stars
LoC Trapezohedron, while lowering their stats with evilities.
If you're not sure, just check the stats before deploying the debuffers, then check them in the prison later.

Innocents are the things that are inside all items, usually with a red icon when you look at an item (not subdued), but they can also have a green (for "unique" innocents that can't be moved ike the water one on the first gun) or yellow icon (for the red ones you subdued/killed in the item world).

Basically, find a rank 1 item, run to floor 10 and switch it to innocent route, put someone with mobility and range (archer or mage work well) in the Hunter Team squad and boost that squad with prisonners to its max level.
Go to the innocent shop (right next to the squad shop by default, I think you need to have subdued an innocent in an item to unlock it, not sure about that) and move any red icon Professionnal you have in the item you put in the innocent route.
Dive into the item once again and when innocents show up kill them with the character(s) in the Hunter squad (significantly bigger bonuses when subduing them like this).

After you have a few, you can put the innocent aid squad to level 7 (don't go higher for now because it's slower than with the hunter squad, also put someone in the squad), merge your professionnals in 2 different stacks of roughly equal level and put them in the innocent farm.
Every now and then, they will spawn a new professionnal that you can put on the item and subdue, and after a few rounds of subduing and fusing them to the innocents at the farm you will get a max stack (ideally multiple max stacks, stack size varies by innocent type but this one stops at 100).

The final step is to put one of those level 100 professional on your metalia's equipment so that she gains the benefits from it.

There are a lot of different innocents, and a lot that you really want at max level like this, so I assumed that you knew about them since you were in LoC already.

Nope; evil eye influences only enemies or allies (if you are against units with that evility) on the map. No permanent stat loss.
Binary Nov 19, 2018 @ 7:34am
Evil Eye won't help with Asagi Farming because they have the Idol evility which easily offsets Evil Eye, you are better off using Cursed Dance if anything. There is a lot to improve on the initial video that was linked, the one I linked above already prevents ending turns or having to wait for the boss Asagi to get close.

Now to get Professionals, it's just luck of having them show up on an item you get from bonus gauge/stealing/chests/etc. Keep an eye open for important innocents on any item you get.
After you get one, subdue it and breed with a single stat innocent.
Lufia Nov 20, 2018 @ 12:35pm
Kk, thx @ all.
FDru Nov 20, 2018 @ 5:32pm
You should probably breed professionals in the innocent farm constantly cause you will need a bunch of them. Also this method is very slow if you want to max out several characters... the second video posted is a much better method even though it takes a bit of effort to collect all the evilities and spread them around (it/s worth it, just takes a few seconds PER clear).

The main points to remember are :
1. Maxed out Christo
2. Execute the overload on the first turn, because Asagis will defend if you let them get a turn
3. You can add a cleric for Spiritual Gain for additional INT. Even though professors have Medical Insertion for "double" buffs it is NOT actually the maximum you can get
Pickleton Nov 20, 2018 @ 6:44pm
If you're still having a bit of trouble, do it a few times on 10 stars and give Metallia (and a few others) the extract from those. Might be just enough to push you into consistent 99 capture on 20 star.
Lufia Nov 21, 2018 @ 5:11am
Kk, thx, I will try it.
