Like do I need to repeat that stage in that manner over and over until both the shards and Magic Extract reach about 10 mil each? As I suppose they both share the same pool when you add them to a hero.

Currently my shards are close to 2 mil and the magic extract is somewhat close to that as well. But that has taken quite a bit of time and a lot of Asagi being killed.

If I go any higher the boss might just end up being too powerful to kill or it'll take too long to kill her for it to be worth it.

Or is there another way?

you only need 10mill combined, the other 10mill comes from mastering all subclasses and leveling 1-9999 via elite 4 squad.

the rest of the stats comes from maxed out items (used when you have 300% aptitudes) and evilities

Would those Evilities with 100% growth bonus help out? Because I tried having close to 200% on attack and my hero didn't really get that much more.

I did use the Elite Squad when leveling up before too.

If you master all subclasses, you will already reach the cap with maxed Elite 4 squad (+ Raised Flag), so those evilities become useless, except the HP ones (higher cap). Before reincarnating, work on building a stack of 900 Statisticians. Those, coupled with 1000% exp at cheat shop and a triple exp/welcome party bill, can easily allow you to level up from 1 to 9999 in one MT4 battle at 1 star while at the Elite 4 squad.

Shard farming is pretty bad tbh, even capturing bears in carnage MT4 would be more efficient

Don't shard farm until you get access to the land of carnage, have maxed subclasses on several characters including a sage and reincarnated them in the elite 4 squad .

Ignore bonus stat growth evilties. Set your sage up with evilties that give as close to possible to +100% stats and +200% attack, and also evilties such as double attack from twin dragon. The 1 point evilty that gives bonus stats based on number of times cleared is really good here. Equip a megaphone as your secondary weapon, since it boosts capture chance.

You also want 4 support characters. Preferably a professor, second sage, christo and maid. Equip all with support evilties, including angel song, which gives bonuses to adjacent characters. All of them should have the defence evilty that makes them immune to allied damage. These support characters can have lower stats/levels if desired.

Use the professor for magic boost, christo for his passive and the second sage and maid for extra attacks. And then spam land decimate until only the boss is left. Then solo him.

An additional refinement would be to magi-change Usalia and a nine tails since they both have helpful evilties for additional boosts. You can also magichange other monsters, which allows you to level their subclasses almost for free.

It also sounds like you're saving your shards. Don't. Use them, then up the difficulty level. The higher the difficulty you can manage the more shards you get.

That's the strat I used. There's a you-tube video discussing an alternative and probably more efficient strategy using Metallia for her overload to mass capture and then Pram for the boss kill, but that requires sub-class farming those characters.

So I tried to find the Evility that boost stats but reduce EXP and the one that gives bonus for the amount of stages you complete. I can't buy it sooo I'm guessing character world. Unless it's put on a character.

Well at least one of my characters have bought all other Evility so she can go through character world in hopes to get it.

Elite Four is a squad you unlock in the post game. Anyone in it receives a penalty to exp but an increase in stat growth.

Look, I have characters with over 20+(It's up in 30 million now) million stats. I know what the Elite four group is for.

In the video above he shows an Evility named Violence and I'm having a hard time finding it through Character world. I got the other one that boosted stats based on wins per map.

Even your Dark Heart is no threat if you use Shaking Excitement with no other stat boost, Double Attack, and/or a curry boosting your HP.
