About the squads
Hey guys I have a question regarding the squad system I can't seem to find any answers to.

Do I need to have the char I want to select for e.g. the chara world active in the chara world squad or are the passive benefits global? So do I have to switch out the squad everytime I want to level another char in chara world? And what are the benefits of having a full squad there?

Same question for the item world squad. Can I just put my trash there in order to benefit from the passive stuff or do I need to use chars I actively employ while exploring the item world?

Thanks

For the CW Squad, the character MUST be in the squad to get the bonuses and learn the evilities

For the IW Squad, most bonuses work from having any character in it without having to use them, with the exception of the bonus that jumps floor count when passing through the gate, that one only applies if the character moving through the gate is a character in the squad

That is not accurate, CW squad is the same as IW squad in that some of the bonuses apply whether or not the person is in the squad. +5 turns does NOT require the person to be in the actual squad, they work the same as most other squad passive bonuses...the squad is a support squad that needs 'someone' in it, but the bonus applies across the board.

In general, the language is pretty accurate in terms of the listed bonuses when you view the squad bonus list in game, so you can tell which one requires actually being a member of the squad.

You also don't need to be in squad for learning evility in char world

You don't have to put character that goes into the chara world into the CW squad, he still gets all benefits if there is someone in it. The benefits of having a full squad - one of the bonuses is 2% of their stats added to the guy that is going to the chara world. So you can put some strong characters into the squad and get those extra stats on characters who explore. You can even use this bonus to test the effect of the squad yourself. Save, send char1 into the chara world, write down his stats, reload, add char2 to the squad, send char1 into the chara world again, compare his stats to the first try. You will notice that even though char1 is not in a squad he still gets the bonuses.

Wow, So ... I knew you didn't need the person in the squad for the the evilities and the extra turns, but I assumed they had to be in it for the stat bonus and never checked to verify it. That's pretty sweet.
