Shard and Extract Farming Tip

30+ hours of just farming shards from Double Illusion... hands hurt... anywho I just learned that Magical Extracts are about 3x-4x more economical than shards.

To save yourself a lot of time, if your Sage is still the main way you are leveling up your characters, put on the Megaphone (30% surrender rate) as your sub-weapon. Sub-weapon evilities still work no matter what hand you have them. This way you get shards and extracts at the same time greatly reducing the grind to the 10 million mark.

I haven't done any testing, but the best grinding/time ratio would likely be Metallia capturing as much as possible. I really wish I knew this a week ago, LOL.

Also worth noting that when you have high enough stats to capture the bears in LoC martial training 4 at 10 stars difficulty, it only takes me 40m to farm up a magic extract that has 9,999,999 stats (except HP) on it using capture 3 skill. Capture 3 skill does get affected by the 100% crit curry and mass blaster as well as any evilities that boost your attack damage by x%, (such as bullying from imp, mana burner from metallia, mana scarcity from one of the later chapter's max bonus gauge)

But i think double fake metallia is the fastest way tho i havent tried it, I don't like how spongy the boss is there, so i went for bears instead after i have got enough stats for it.

Has anyone tried having the unique innocent of megaphone on other equipment too?

Unless doing something situational (Raised Flag for leveling, etc.) I always leave megaphone in subweapon slot. Just make sure to clean out the prisoner list every now and again, as there's a cap of 128 people.

Also make sure Salvatore is the leader of your interrogation squad, she has a common Evility that boosts the stats you get from extraction.
