Endless magichange for enemies?
I wanted to steal some guns but those fuc*k*ers got imps for weapons and then I couldn't. So I thought, yeah, I'll wait till magichange wears off, but... it didn't?? Do enemies have endless magichanges? If so, they need a nerf lmao (I'm joking but I wanted to confirm this, if anyone knows. Google doesn't help on this one)

The good thing is that you can also have those extra long magichange, the assembly has a bill for it (it only lasts 1 map each time, but if you do it when you need the magichange to last it does work well).

I see. Thanks for replying.

I know about that bill! But it's too expensive for me right now, I'm just on early story yet, haha. I always take it easy, so I may use it when I have higher levels on post-game.

One of the best mods for this game made that Endless Magichange bill toggle instead of just 1 battle.

Many says that mod exist for this game, yet all of them is for the cracked demo. (Do mods even exist for the *official* game? If so....where?)

They probably won't be around while game being patched frequently.

Actually, you still have modders doing just that, factorio is a good exemple.

Kinda sad that the unofficial game get more mod support that the main game.

Even so, if not a single mod was made for the main game at this point, chances are, we won't be getting any. (Form my experience)

I hope im worng.

The old demo mods were developed over several months and sadly the full version is structered differently so those can't be ported. The person who made those mods also isn't working on this version of the game but there are other groups that have been working on them. I think the only thing to come out of it currently are cheat tables to play as classes you couldn't normally but I haven't sought them out cause it's nothing I'm interested in yet.

So yeah, people are working on modding the game but it's going to take some time. The base game has plenty of content and in a month or two if there are mods I'm sure someone will start a new thread on the forum.

Too bad the demo is so different, this caused the modders to be divided in 2, and if a modder that worked on the demo refuse to move to this version, it's extremely bad news for those that got the game legit.

To think a pirated game actually get more mod support that the main game.
This is completely upside down.

Mod support would imply that the devs put things to help the modding (like factorio that was cited earlier) or that at least a pseudo official group made an API (like minecraft where modding started the dirty way by replacing code files manually and a group built a very potent API that is used by nearly every mod ever since and even the devs have come forward to say that it is the best way to mod their game).

Here there is no support from the dev's side, so like with many other games the modders first have to break appart the game in order to figure out where they need to more or less forcefully add their own code, which is much harder if the exe and data files are still being regularly updated (reason why the old demo that has not changed for months had mods).
After a few months when the devs are happy with their work (and/or have no more time/budget to work on it anymore), the release version will probably see mods as well, it's usually how it happens for games that do not have official mod support unless there is a massive amount of people trying to mod it.

I'd imagine the steam release is more optimized than the cracked demo, hence why the code is so different. Going off the demo (because I refuse to buy this port, I'm sticking to my PS4 version), the game seemed to run a bit faster/smoother. A lot of the old bugs are still in there for some reason from what I hear, though.
