Data Shop Emblem List Mysterious Missing Content?

Under the listing for Secret Gems in the Data Shop, there are a lot of empty listings. Do "Secret Gems" apply to more than emblems like Exodus, Arcadia, and so on? There are a lot of empty spots and I wonder what they are refering to. I tried to "google it" but I've found nothing on the topic so far. Do any of you guys know?

i THINK that these missing spots are Carnage items. I have yet to finish the story, so i don't have an idea about it either. But that seems to be the most plausible hypothesis...

The item lists all include Land of Carnage items because they are seperate items, which doubles the size of the list.

I only know of 2 equips in the game that do not have a normal and Carnage form, because both are gained from Baal and thus are Carnage by default.
