DLC are 0.000001% part of the game.
Recommendation: (i'd buy monster hunter world or save money up for generations ultimate)
Oh you are talking about getting Disgaea 5 not that trash company Nintendo. Get it on Playstation 4 if you have money to throw away.
I cannot tell you how extremely pleasurable it is to pop the switch into the dock, lay down facing the tv with both arms splayed out at your sides, and play the game. I would take laying down completely relaxed over being hunched forward in a desk chair anchored to a machine both figuratively and literally if you're using a usb controller. Not to mention you can keep playing if you have to catch a bus or take a dump. The battery consumption of Disgaea 5 is one of the best on the system. You get something like 5 and a half hours in airplane mode.
TL;DR Buy the portable version. They are always the best versions. Why buy a game that runs the same or better on a portable system for a PC? It makes no sense.
Bugger off
I'm offering my informed opinions and experiences having played thousands of hours of Disgaea on almost every platform the game has been published on. Sure, maybe I'm stupid for not having a conclusion that is in line with your feelings, but at least I'm not a proverbial Helen Keller: So blind as to miss the topic while spouting deaf liped gutteral noises and insults.
All because I added to the discussion. Wah'eddy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wah. You replied to this topic, and had I not been here to cushion OP you probably would have attacked them for even asking the question in the first place. How do I know this? Because you searched this out. I know you did
I get it, you bought this version and have to defend your purchase in light of all of the recent problems. But know this: both versions go to the same wallet, so yah got no case bruv. Either way it's literally the same game, just different ways to interface with it. You just got the less agile one.
I'll add another TL;DR just because I think you're literally braindead: I don't care, you have no authority. Cry some more.
Switch version offer :
- lower price
- portability
PC version ( will ) offer :
- Higher price ( assuming you go the legit way )
- fan made mod like translation fixes , rasetsu mod, innocent mod, music mod.... and problably some more mod i'm not aware of.
If you search something to play at home, PC version is the way to go since it will offer more.
If you search a time burner for when you're commuting in bus/train/metro, the switch version is what you need.
I use wireless controllers on PC and a big HDMI cable to play on my TV/home theater setup laying down on my couch.
It's PC gaming, you can do ANYTHING with it, play it on your TV/couch,and even stream to a portable device if you so desire. It's your own lack of effort or investment if you are limiting your PC gaming to hunching forward on a desk.
I'm going to Idaho next week by plane. Guess what I"ll be doing for the 2 hour flight?
But don't forget PC has mods. Switch and PC version both have advantages, but I'd avoid the PS4 one for sure. Have to buy the overpriced DLC separately, no portability, no mods.
that's the problem.... but yeah, I agree with you : PC is most versatile platform... which is a good thing !
