PC vs Switch vs PS4
So what are the benefits of getting this on PC vs console?
PCs have better graphics cards, so at the very least I expect it will have better frame rates and resolution.
But more importantly, since PCs have more memory than consoles, will the game have bigger maps with more enemies on them?

Or will this game be nothing but a straight port?

The advantage is obvious in that you won't be a peasant.

No one knows, it hasn't been announced yet. But I can answer a few things.

PC usually comes with everything, including some extras.

No, the game is balanced around the amount it has.

In terms of how good the game is, the standard is PC > Switch > PS4.

The PS4 version just sucks, you need to sit down and play it, with standard speed.

The Switch allows you to play while travelling or waiting, one of the best ways to play Disgaea.

PC version allows you to speed up the game, usually 200% to 300% speeds. And if you are playing it on a Laptop, you get the Switch advantage also.

Where do you get this 200%-300% speed thing from? Haven't heard of it before in relation to this title.

Cheat Engine. With it you can increase the speed of the game by the amount your CPU can handle. Just remember to disable V-Sync, since it speeds up the FPS.

The advantage is potential mod support, all the DLC for free (over the ps4 version). Better framerate, probably not locked at 30 anymore. 5 definitely has some slowdown on the maps with maximum units allowed.

You can look at their track record to see they don't add new maps or anything like that exclusively for the PC. Getting the PS4 DLC is very nice though.

A quality port will be perfectly fine and enjoyoable.
