im currently at 40 million stats for some of my characters especially the sage and im trying to get to 99mil stats how do i do that

my last achievement other then the all achievement achievement is doing 10 billion damage and i just did over 10 billion damage on training 4 map but i didn't get the achievement. are we supposed to leave one guy alive so game can recognize it or something?...

So I want to get stronger, so I can take on the challenge missions and extra bosses. But I looked up a few bits of guides floating around and couldn't figure out what to do. All these grinding guides tell me to do things I don't have access to, or can't perform yet. They expect me to already be strong. What should I do, to get to the point I can grind out characters to higher levels and get access to More advanced methods of weapon/skill/evility grinding?...
