Worth the time?
I'm sure *any* game is worth $0.50, but is it worth the time?

Yup, very good one. But better buy the bundle if you are really interested. :notebook:

I suggest you invest the 2€ and go for the whole pack (parts 1-4, sadly the conclusive last part of this series costs a bit more) I recently bought the pack somewhere else, (a site where you usually get games cheaper than here and drm-free) but now with 1.99€ steam is the winner when it comes to lowest price around.
I only played the first part so far, but I am hooked to play the other ones too. It has a great story, think "Ghost Whisperer" television series, but not as cheesy and with a mystery story that will keep you wanting to find out what its all about.
The dialogues are great and the voice-overs are damn professional.
The first game is rather short, but chances are that you will regret not having bought the bundle after having finished it.
It is a very condensed adventure. So if you don´t usually play adventures because they offer too many places to visit, and too many items to pick up...this might be what you have been looking for.

I would Say yes! :D
The first game (this one) is a bit slower til you get to the good stuff, but definitely worth it.
That said, the other blackwell games are awesome, one of my favorite series in the point and click genre:D:

As long as you enjoy point and click adventures, the Blackwell series is, in my opinion, one of the best modern entries in the genre.

Get the pack. I bought it again to have on steam, and I'm playing it again too. Now that's worth $0.50.

was ok, didnt regret to buy it and looking forward to the next three episodes.. plus there are trading cards

yes, the voice acting is good, and the art is very retro pixel adventure style so if you enjoy a point and click adventure than this is good to go (especally on sale)

The games are rather short but enjoyable in all aspects, so grab the bundle before the offer expires and you won't regret it if you like point and click adventures.

Slow in terms of story development or game play? I'm going to stick this one out even if there are lulls because the reviews are fantastic.

1 ends almost by the time it gets done explaining how to play, it is so short. It was ok.

2 and 3 weren't that good
deception felt like a full game it was ok.

I haven't done the last one.

I guess it's worth the sale price of $2 for the pack, but barely.

maybe i was spoiled cause I did black mirror 1 recently, that was awesome and better than all these combined

Story development. or at least I thought so when I first played this as I wanted to get to the part where you meet Joey, because that's where the real fun begins. Anyway have fun playing this title :tgrin:

get the whole bundle!
vampkittie Jun 29, 2014 @ 2:43pm
Yes...good little games but fairly short so worth buying the bundle :)

There are way better point and click adventure games than this, but it is ok enough for $.50 and a little bit of time. Plus the games are short compared to others in the genre so you won't be spending too much time.
