finished the tech tree?

So I finished all the items in the tech tree and only repeating jobs are available for space missions. The game has stopped giving any new story elements but it feels very unfinished.

Is there and end story to ISA? What about the Children of Carmine? Both feel unresolved.

To get the credit page, you need to finish all the tasks and terraforming (finish stage 5 and reach home planet or something like that), then the faction you chose to join will contact you to tell you it's only the beginning, and after a while, the game will end.

If you are not there yet, you have to complete the current terraforming stage.

I let the game run a couple hours unatended, not much happened. I'll take a closer look.

yeah, the end of the game can be quite long and boring with nothing happening.
It took me 3 hours with the game running at full speed and doing absolutely nothing to get the oxygen level at the right percentage.

I already have open cities so how can the O2 ect be far off?

I don't know, look at your terraforming objectives, they tell you what you need to do.
I don't know at which stage you are and what objectives you still need to do.
Are you lacking O2 in stage 4? Extract CO2 from regolith with nuclear extractors and build more biodomes, far from the roads and in open space, also raise the water level and temperature, otherwise, it won't spread.

Are you at stage 5 and have too much O2? Build tons of oxygen capture plants, and nitrate extractors, and import tons of nitrates and GHG from your spaceports.
