WARNING: Do Not Buy
This is another Clockwork Empires situation; the devs bit off more than they can chew, by a lot, and the game is in a very buggy and unfinished state - but they put it on sale anyway in a last gasp effort to grab funds and start patching their mess.

The game will almost certainly never be in an acceptable state. If you buy this, you will not get your money's worth; they are not selling a game, they are trying to get you to fund the development of a game without being up front about it.

I dunno, I'd say the game works fine. A few things could be improved but nothing major. The game feels finished, plenty to do throughout the story. I never felt like I was stuck on anything and it was fun to learn how everything worked.

Sorry, never had that problem, and I've played through the game 4 times. I always prioritize military research as soon as it opens up and build drone hives to cover everything. That's usually plenty to fight off the enemy.

yeah cool stuff bro i do the same thing.

My worker drones still die and dont reproduce

You're about two and a half hours too late for me, but I will be sending refund requests until Steam caves. Manual review damnit. This game is unacceptable. I've played Early Access titles with better coding.

I mean both Rimworld, Surviving the Aftermath, and Satisfactory were much better games and some of those aren't even fully released.

I think it’s more like No Mans Sky launch. They were overly ambitious, and it probably should have been early access. But I have 50 hours in and am still greatly enjoying my experience.

There are a lot of bugs yes. There are some twists I’m not pleased with. But I sure am happy this game exists; warts and all.

It’s priced like early access. For the scale of this game, I think that was a hint.

I’ll keep playing as long as the devs keep releasing regular patches.

There's definitely several ways players can get stuck and frustrated, but the game as a whole is actually complete, fun, and very engaging.

It's not the best game in terms of gameplay that I've played, as games like Creeper World or Harvest: Massive Encounter come to mind as "better" in the mechanics/difficulty department. But it has a surprisingly good story, good voice acting, and a very visually/thematically appealing design, beyond what any game in it's genre has.

I suspect some players have been spoiled by other games that are more linear, or take care to make sure players don't get stuck in stages with bad choices. But terraforming Mars seems like an operation that will take some careful planning and thinking, which is all that's necessary to get past some of the game's hard points.

Yea, sorry guys. I finished the game with only 2 bugs. 1 with the first attack (enemy base killed itself after 5-6 waves), and the save/load to repeat the N2 Aerobrakes.

Worker bot and maintenance drones problems are just cascading failures due to mismanagement of resources. This can easily happen at any point in the game if you aren't paying attention.

i beat the game on hard difficulty for my first playthrough in ~20 hours. Great game, sure it can always use some polish but there are a lot worse titles in EA. This is a full/complete game IMO.

Try it on an easier setting or go slower/don't time warp as much until you get the hang of it.

First 20 hrs feel it complete but with many room to improve.
Quite a bit of illogical design for food and water ingame.
The story feel illogical too.
As for material . i have 20% worker to building ratio and priorities. Seem to work fine.
i also stock up material and part in storage.

Game has bugs but I already enjoyed far more than game price.
No problem for me to reset stuck workers by hand as long as I enjoy Mars map and resource gathering sandbox. So much rejoycing. For second long playthrough I will wait for patches tho.

the game is not playable

I can agree that the game has its problems, but it is not a car wreck. It needs some polishing and QoL features, tutorial hints, and mechanisms that allows players to save themselves from their own misstakes. At the moment, the game is developed to be played the right way, but it will go away as they keep developing the game. The developers need all the feedback and bug reports they can get to overcome problems coming from their development silo. I recommend that if you do not like the game now, wait a few months, play it again, and then give it your review.

Mismanages logistics.
Workers don't get replenished.
Acts surprised when the base falls apart because there are no workers anymore.
