water levels and buildings
so you decide to go into a browner region for a research outpost...it says flood plain, but no worry since you have no water yet, right? then almost instantly (not sure the exact threshold) you have a water level (across an entire planet) of a few meters and your buildings are slightly submerged.

two things here... one, it would be good to have some sense of what the water level impact will be of certain actions, before taking them. Or a more gradual rising of the water.

But I would at least settle for the ability to then salvage the buildings that are now affected by the rising water. Currently, if they have water you can't touch them, so you are stuck with them forever.

Maybe it is a tech i haven't found yet, but this also leaves you with no way to explore interesting locations once the water has risen.
Apparently when we went to Mars we forgot what boats are?

That was my thought process, too. Not telling the player about such a massive change in advance and give them a chance to react seems like an oversight.

We can somehow build buildings that hover eternally in space, however waterproofing a building is too hard, after all we allready have pressurized buildings to keep the deadly atmosphere and the cold out, we couldn't possible have the technologie to build in or under water.

Yeah, i just made this comment in the bugsection. I was desperate for water, and found plenty south of my base. So i invested in a new landingsite, hyperloop and complete infrastructure near the newly found waterdeposits, only to loose it all to terraforming. There were no indications of rising waterlevels and no warning about setting up a base there, all of sudden i got the martian sea inside my own base. Total EPIC FAIL. This game, as good as it is, its also a disaster in several ways. I started over several times, and ran into brickwalls, because of lacking information, bugs and misunderstanding mechanics. Its frustrating, because the game has so much potential, it just feel rushed and incomplete, like the devs never really played it or had 3rd party testers.

There is a pretty clear Height(KM) marking displayed.

@Rolfil
But thats actually strange too:
yes you see the colour scheme but after 400m most of my brown ares are flooded, and IF this height(KM) diagram would be right, i had 6-8km left in height but it doesnt.
