i am restarting cus the enemy ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me up will update if problem returns
Exactly what happened to me. I have no idea how to get past the event. Your base is completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by maintenance and power following the system shutdown and it feels like you have 3 or things that need to be immedaitely prio'd but your workers obviously can't keep up and then they just start being killed by the attacks and its gg.
Guess I will start again, I have seen a few things I could have done better. I did not see my own drones shooting up my own workers though, I will have to keep my out for that one. It may explain why I could not rebuild fast enough. I was to busy swearing at the screen and trying to defend myself to notice.
Just wanted to say, I reloaded my save at the point where the systems shutdown occurs and actually I was pretty easily able to get everything back online and actually identified the real reasons why things weren't working out.
Third time round I easily got set up and defended the attacks without any problem at all, I actually think you have the timing perfect.
The only reason you might not be ready is because your logistics and production efficiencies are not good, so the system shutdown is the first real test of your base, if your supply productions isn't there and you dont have the workers its going to be tough.
I was able to prioritise and build all the additional infrastructure pretty easily to overcome the initial attack and be secure going forward. I didn't play too much further then this though so we'll see.
I think you likely have it about right and if players do a little investigating into what and why things are failing they will be able to get a much more satisfying solution gameplay wise.
The only reason you might not be ready is because your logistics and production efficiencies are not good,
I don't know I had a good supply chain up and running, and plenty of surplus supply's banked up in stock yards ready to go. When the attacks started they hit the workers, stock yards and the repair drone towers with their first strike, the best part of my surplus supplies and repair drones towers were taken out with a few workers drones, not forgetting damage to sub systems like the power grid, mines and factory's . I prioratised repair drones and workers and made repairs where I could do so, but before the repairs and the rebuild were only half done in came the second wave. This put back even further then the first wave, now running out of supply's and workers.
From that point on it was down hill all the way, by the seventh attack there was nothing worth saving as fast as I was building they were knocking it down again.
What defence I had which was three level three defence towers with there drone factory's did little in the way to slow them down. I did struggle to make out the defence towers and click on them when in combat and this could have been a factor, as well as trying to direct them to the target.
It would be nice if the drones were automonus and went after their own targets instead of manually having to guide them in the right direction.
