As of writing this, it's an asset flip and NOT an actual game! You click missiles to kill them and defend the planet in the center and that IS ABSOLUTELY ALL THERE IS TO IT! No other features (like game modes and maps and whatever), no mechanics beyond just the click (upgrades, abilities, skills, you don't even have something to help you kill more stuff at once you literally just have to click every single projectile), and WORST of all NO PAUSE BUTTON WUT! Going into menu to even look at things doesn't actually pause this game (not that there is anything to look at it there) and that's just crazy in a game that's about speed and reflexes. If there is I haven't found it (or any other features so far), which is already bad enough even if it is present, so your only option is to quit this game. At least it saves your progress, but that feels very pointless.

This is literally as featureless as arcade games from 50-60 years ago, and even then some of those were actually better.

I bought it on sale for like half a dollar, and I don't even mind it (let's call it charity), but I did expect more. The nicest and fairest thing I can say about this game now in terms of recommendation is:

1) Total veggie out! If you just want something absolutely mindless and ADHD satisfying to completely forget about everything as you just click away into a retrograde mindstate to avoid dealing with the meaninglessness of this futile existence....or if you are waiting for some other game to load.

2) Potential? I mean I don't think it's that hard to add some features at this point, maybe even turn this into an entirely different game while you are at it, so let's support the dev now and maybe this will be a decent defense game that matches up to flash games from 10 years ago! For half a dollar I'd just be happy with a pause button and an upgrade that lets me pop more than one missile at a time in a slight AoE...Then I might even care just for the third benefit...

3) Click away into oblivion and see what insane high score you can get. I imagine maybe there is an audience for that. It might be interesting to see how far you can go in 1 year on like 5 minutes per day, so maybe that is worth even a full dollar to someone!

If this game does change I am willing to change my opinion of it and give it more of a fair chance, but in the Steam level competition you are better off getting something else or playing a Freemium, Fee 2 Pay game even.

Made it to wave 10. The only reason I stopped is because I got bored.

+5000 achievements for launch and nothing else.
Enjoy restarting your client as the game crashes out on exit.

A planet sits in the centre of the screen, you collect blue crystals and destroy the rockets/ships that fly towards it. The level / backdrop remains the same throughout and for each blue crystal the planet collects, a progress meter fills towards level completion and for each level you survive, the number of enemies flying towards the planet increases, as does the number of crystals which you need to complete the level.

Above your planet is a health bar that drops for each rocket/ship that hits the planet, if the bar runs out the planet is destroyed, but oddly the game is not over. When the planet is destroyed the game continues from the same level you failed on and your high score does not get reset.

A process that is simply repeated until you hit a reaction wall where you can no longer keep up with the number of incoming enemies, at least when using a mouse as a controller (the game is clearly aimed at mobile with touch control).

With all said and done, it's just another chievo spam game cluttering up Steam.

I don't even know where I got this game from but when I started it I got automatically 5000 achievements and it's small game about defending planet from some rockets, it doesn't worth buying unless you wanna have free achievements.

u can barely count that as an game. its just meh!
after about 5min, all "achievments" unlock! yeahhhhhh :o
this is just a BS game and doesn't to deserve to be on steam!

Solar Battle Glargaz is a time waster type game. Very basic concept and play. Click the missiles coming to your main planet.
I found the music to be quite good and didn't feel that it got old.
Replayability is probably very low for most.
I played through level 10. Difficulty on default setting only began to be more challenging on level 10, but still easy.
I can't recommend someone to purchase this game since there is so little to it. Some might like it, but they'll hopefully get it for next to nothing in a bundle as I did for less than 3 cents.
I didn't notice any achievements being unlocked while I played for over 5 minutes, but there are in fact 5,000 completed. Also, another said it is an assett flip. Without saying where from, I can not say if that is true.
There is certainly much better fun to be had out there!

Solar Battle Glargaz is yet another asset flip from VT Publishing. There's an asset where you just click on things moving to the centre of the screen. At least they slapped a skin on it.

Regardless, there's no game here, just clicking on things moving on the screen. Thanks go to Valve for allowing this junk on Steam.
