GPU device lost (Crash to Desktop)
Do you guys also get constant crash to desktop with "GPU device was lost, game cannot continue". Sometimes I only get a 1-2s freeze.

Specs :
- RX 7900XT (latest WHQL driver: 25.3.1)
- R5 5600X
- 32GB DDR4@3200MHz
- Screen 3440x1440@165Hz (borderless window)

I tried (so far):
- highest & lowest settings
- Unlimited FPS, cap at 120 and at 90
- disable Adrealin options (like anti-lag & co)
- verify files integrity
- re-install

I cannot play more than 5min (if I'm lucky)

hello, could you pop some more info to our player support team? Your DxDiag might be helpful. Please quote ref 8698f7tah

Since I had some time to loose, I did a full driver clean install (after running DDU) of 25.3.2.
I am happy to say that I did get double performances : I can play 10min sessions now !

Still working fine on other games.
yeah I have this issue as well, though mine is more at random intervals. The game runs flawlessly other than the "GPU device was lost" error. This has never happened in any other game, so I'm confused on whats causing it.

Same issue on 5080
Same issue on 5080. I even reinstalled my whole OS with a more updated version of Windows 11 24H2 and still have the crash. Have not crashed in any other game at all and currently using stable drives (572.75)
Also experienced the same "GPU device was lost, game cannot continue" crash when testing the latest Nvidia drivers (572.83)
Hi @Hollie rebellion I submitted a ticket as well, Hope the issue can get addressed quickly!

Your dxdiag says you don't have a dedicated GPU, "Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630" is your CPU chipset.

Do you have a dedicated GPU in your PC?
If not, that might explain your issue.
Otherwise you might have plug your monitor on the wrong port.
I also opened up a ticket. Game crashs frequently with this error message.

Tried the same as you already did.

- DDU -> Install new driver.
- verify files integrity
- re-install
Not sure i want to Jinx it...but since i changed the FPS settings from unlimited to 60 and matched the background to Foreground fps, (v-sync checked) ..i have yet to crash at all..gonna go to bed and see if it still runs smoothly i hope so since i really wanted to play it (all from the Gear Setting before game launch BTW)

You're a hero, my friend. Game would crash every 30 seconds no matter what I did before, now it runs perfectly with no crashes in the last 25 minutes.
