I find it really funny that these folks who complain about "wokeness" and "agendas" etc want to sound like they are expressing some new or important ideas that aren't the same old mental gymnastics BS that it's always about, designed to frame the issue as if the people complaining about woke things have an actual valid point aside from just defending their own racist or homophobic views and defending others' racist or homophobic views.

"Oh here's an opportunity to dog whistle about my racist or anti-gay views. I don't have any actual substance with anything so let me just spew a bunch of snarl/buzz words like woke, SJW, whatever without backing up anything in specific, getting down to the details of things."

Another point about it I think is to keep it vague and not actually get into specifics and back up anything in specific.

It's just one giant obfuscation -- a lie that's regurgitated over and over when folks feel naturally pressured by their own stupidity into searching for an excuse and a explanation/vibe that will score points with "how they sound" or how their optics appear to other bigot asshoes, in whatever form it's protected in.

Also, fun fact: Blue Lives Matter is a racist police propaganda response to BLM. There's nothing wrong with BLM and the fact that folks have a problem with an organization claiming that the lives of certain people matter isn't surprising. And usually for the folks who aren't racist they are still tools for cops nonetheless just like mainstream media is.

So, BLM is the problem and not this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ organization that is just protecting police brutality in response to it. You folks sound real intelligent, full of substance, full of facts and stuff.

You know, in 99% of media, entertainment, games, etc relationships and sexual themes are hetero. But once in a while when it's not (gasp, yes, that means gay or something), it's woke. That's bad.

There hasn't been any misc notes talking about gay relationships, or even straight ones for that matter, all of the NPC background dialogue so far has been relevant to the environment, complaining about soldiers being tyrants, hunger etc, not casually using male voices to talk about husbands / boyfriends half the time like you normally see.



It's early hours still and if there are more towns than this first one, maybe some of the usual suspects have been sprinkled in.
But damn it's looking good so far that this might actually be free from "modern day" politics.

You're partly correct here. Where you're incorrect is in believing that only one side of the aisle does it. Believe me, they both do - our elected officials, regardless of which party they're affiliated with, are two sides of the same coin. It's they, and more specifically those who CONTROL them (like the Larry Finks of the world, and worse), who have an extremely vested interest in keeping us divided and hating each other. I've said this many many times around here - there's not a single politician out there, not one, who has any of our best interests at heart.

Don't think for one second that only one side of this argument is brainwashed. ANYONE who makes blanket statements about the other side, lumping everyone into one tent, has fallen for the propaganda and is doing their bidding. That includes the out-of-control censors on the left, and the hard-core anti-wokers on the right.

So yes, it very much does start with the bankers, and there are absolutely millions of dollars being spent to keep people fat, dumb and brainwashed. Just don't fall into the trap of thinking that only one side is guilty of it, because nothing could be farther from the truth.

Currently there is no moral equivalent between the right and left. Like it or not today the left has a broken moral compass and the only side with a working one is on the right.
