On the plus side we have a game that runs like a one legged cat on a icy lake and there's never any crashes or bugs.
I know what i prefer.
In what settings?
in your eyes, maybe you think this is fine. but its 2025, it should be just "fine" it should be great
what does that even mean its 2025? the game runs native 4k with 120fps and looks great. that this is possible is so rare its one of some games i count at one hand in the last 6 years.
screeching for ♥♥♥♥♥♥ upscalers that use TAA is just sad. and its a reason why gaming has become so bad.
we shouldn't need mods, to remove jaggy ass lines, in 2025.
hell games released 10 years ago, have less jaggy lines then this does
We have a Fuc kTAA user here
I run the game at 4k but the aliasing absolutely is very distracting. The shimmering effect is hurting an otherwise attractive looking game
DLAA blurriness ? 😂😂 I guess you’re on AMD and have no idea what you’re talking about.
Sharp and pixel shimmering is an oxymoron.
I’m playing it at 4k display and 140% render scale and it’s still bad.
The game is well optimized and it’s a shame they put this trash AA.
The way I understand it though, the game has no motion vectors or depth buffer, so DLSS/FrameGen etc, ain't happening. They literally built the engine without it on purpose so it would run quickly, pretty much no matter what.
Personally think its a step in the right direction, but somehow they maybe forgot that you can use TAA on specific shaders/effects -without- forcing it on the entire game. Like say, your foliage models on LODs or distance renders and not the ones that are right near your character.
*shrug* maybe the devs of various games don't know how anymore. Games around 2010 used this and some look -better- than games that are available now. I think the old pros retired/moved up to non-production jobs and now all the new blood only knows how to do what they do, and are not quite as knowledgeable about HOW they are doing it.
They are sick people, TAA is evil and destroys lives apparently
