For a game with zombies and alot of shooting, there's surprisingly very little gore.
Very old school scifi horror themes,
Blood trails and disused bandages are environmental decoration with probably a disused hospital wing being morgue like, but no dismemberment, minor blood in combat.

Zombies are blue and purple bloody.

Honestly was surprised it was so tame given this is the same studio that gave us xray testicular shots. :shellshock:
It's way too tame. I've seen no gore and I don't remember there being any setting to turn it on.
Gore only because you will see a drop of blood when you shoot your enemy in the head or you use the "sword" and kill them. But there are no body parts which fall off. It's suitable for 6 years old people in these times. In the 1970's or 80's this game got the age rating 17+.

Really? No gore? Wow... Rebellion is so tame these days.

The thing is, the Sniper Elite Resistance that recently came out has full gore with x ray kills so I don't get why Atomfall drops the ball so hard on this.

Because it was inspired by Fallout 3/New Vegas, Bioshock. Old school games.
Not "The Last of us" and "Dying light".

Fallout 3 and NV had gore.

Fallout 4 has a certain distinctive "charm" (for lack of a better term) with the gore in it. I can see reasons why they toned it back here for broader appeal but the dark/creepy sci-fi and post apocalyptic themes work against it being taken out. It'd be interesting, especially for this type of game, if they added it as optional DLC, like TW:Warhammer does.
