I found a note and was reading it but i got attacked so i had to exit and fight and then i couldn't find that note anymore.... and i think it's a not that tells me what to do at the dam for power....

Go to your investigation tab, click on a lead. It should tell you if parts of that lead are hidden. Click on the line that says 'x are hidden'. It will show you all the threads of that part of the story you have found. Ones with a blue dot are things you haven't read.

Nope, don't see anything, i checked all entries, it still says some are hidden by a filter and i saw no more blue markers anywhere.... And there wasn't a line that said, X are hidden anywhere...

Any luck with this? Quite often I am also expanding every entry and there is no new threads and it's frustrating. Surprised there is not more info about this.

Nope, still hidden... can't find anywhere to remove that filter so it shows all.... Hope they fix this by adding a filter button in the game soon... and if there is 1.... make it easier to find like... in the list with leads itself and not hidden in sum obscure setting in the settings menu :P
It is not a filter, it is just an expansion. So it could say
Met Person X
Spoke with Person X
Met person Y
Spoke with person Y
(3 more entries)

The 3 more entries is your filtered content...click that to see those 3 entries
Nope, that's not it. I still have hidden entries even after opening everything... it still shows that blue bubble that i have new unread entries and i can't get to them.... Sumtimes i find a message, click the read button, and it will say on top where it's located, like, location miscellaneous.... when u go back to the main page, that miscellaneous list is not showing. Only the main quests and sidequests with the leads in it... but miscellaneous entries is hidden. And it keeps saying, some entries hidden behind a filter. The filter is blocking messages that r not part of a quest or something i guess.

Switch from "Open Leads" view to "All findings" view. Default key, iirc, is "F"; anyway, this hotkey should be displayed when viewing the leads list.

All i have is all regions, which it is on, or, sort order, recently updated or alphabetical.... none of them show the miscelaneous list i see when sumtimes picking up and reading a message. And it still shows the blue marker on the investigations tab, notebook but there's no blue marker in the list anywhere... Opened every listing, every sub listing, every, show all findings.... nothing..... But the marker is still on the investigation tab and notebook tab but nowhere in the list of quests itself.... it bugs me like crazy that i can't find the hidden entries that still need to be read to get rid of that blue marker....

If you absolutely sure that you've sift trhough "All findings" as well, I'm out of ideas. Unless you somehow mistake a blue marker for items with marker for documents.

Got a screenshot?

I hope this works. Test first, will edit if it works.

Ok, seems to work... This is the investigations tab and the Notebook.... it shows blue markers, i have flipped everything open, there's no blue markers inside but the tabs still show a blue marker and it keeps saying some leads are hidden behind a filter.

It looks like you have remapped you controls to some custom scheme?

You're supposed to have a hotkey displayed right next to "Open Leads" writing to switch view to "All findings". But you also can switch by just clicking "Open Leads" itself. Check "All findings" view and post its screenshot if you can.
OMG THANK YOU!!! I can just click on open leads!! I thought that was just a name...... It finally shows them all.... Wow.... That was it.

And yes, i change keybindings whenever i can... i hate WASD, i use ESDF for walking......

I'd say, it's worth reporting to the bug forum since the rebinding that you've made has clearly broke some functionality. Normally, the window should look like this which would, at least, give a player a hint.

Yes, that's weird as all my bindings have a key behind it, i have no unbound keybinding so whatever i replaced F with, should be the new button behind that function i would guess.....
