Protocol

Long story short, I was given the pass and am still attacked on sight, even after just entering the new area. I had not explored anything yet, shot at a ram that was dead, and thats it. Protocol still aggros me. Is this a bug, or is the pass ONLY for specific areas and I have to sneak to those areas for it to work?

sounds like a bug tc
however i think it might also only let you walk around inside the prison complex freely. outside in general skethermoor area protocol shoot on sight. im sure the protocol chief said as much when talking about it

The Captain warns the player that Protocol will attack regardless of who the player is. Certain Protocol members attack. Which group is based on color of the uniform. I think black and red attack and blue and gray don't. Haven't tested this though.

i just took out every solider in the army base area and robots, and prison. now when i go to the areas only 4 or 5 solders have re spun and i kill them each time. so i have free run of the army base.

I feel like he made it sound like I had free reign, but crossing someone or acting out of line would nullify it. I could be very wrong (hence my initial question), or I could have just misunderstood. Thank you!

I vaguely remember the color difference. Thank you for that, Ill pay better attention now.

LOL I mean yeah, that does give you pretty much full access. Hopefully Protocol in the village dont aggro me if I do that (I doubt it but idk). Thank you!

It's only the prison and Protocol camp. Wandering Protocol groups will respond to you the same as any other wandering group, as will any Protocol you find in bunkers or similar locations. Though equally you can wipe those guys out without it affecting the pass, it's only if you attack Protocol in their camp or in the prison they'll turn hostile.

It's only the prison and Protocol camp. Wandering Protocol groups will respond to you the same as any other wandering group, as will any Protocol you find in bunkers or similar locations. Though equally you can wipe those guys out without it affecting the pass, it's only if you attack Protocol in their camp or in the prison they'll turn hostile.
