Purchased the Deluxe edition upgrade but nothing was added

I played the game for about 15-20 minutes to decide if I would like it, I do like the style, game play, and voice acting so far so I bought the upgraded Deluxe pack which states in includes • “Basic Supply Bundle” Pack • “Enhanced Supply Bundle” Pack”. I quit the game and re-entered, there is nothing new. So I started a new game and progressed once again to Wyndham Village but there is still nothing new in my inventory or available to me. What exactly are these Bundle packs that are supposed to be part of the deluxe edition?

You find them in the world randomly in caches.

Oh no, the enhanced supply bundle is supposed to be near the start and includes a decent weapon. Doesn't exist in my game either

you find them in Widnym Village.

You need a metal detector a free one can be found on the way to the village. The stashes are near the bandstand. Also the Landlord at the pub has some items you can buy - not sure which ones they are but you get a tutorial notification about it

At the pub I believe its the 2 skill books

I tried going back to those locations, I do have the metal detector. Still nothing new on the new save after getting the deluxe edition. I wonder if I have to reset the tutorials to trigger it?
