Trader Billy Gorse Hostile

Not sure what I've done but I left him after trading, explored for a bit killed some druids and come back and hes hostile......what have i done wrong ?

I've just had the exact same thing happen to me so I would like to know too..

Same situation. Back to him after a few hours and he started attacking me. Not a single quest was connected to him or the forest. I assumed it was madness from the infection but you can just run up and start talk to him. Looks like a bug.

Same happened to me...i had killed druids before meeting him and he was fine. killed a few more and he became hostile after. but unsure if that's connected? what happened? dang it i hadn't bought the last recipe from him

Yup, tried rushing him to trade and he does do it but hostility does go up so still an issue.
Gonna leave him alone until he gets fixed, wanna get some of his stuff without killing 'em.

I did the same because I couldn't find a solution and I didn't want to kill him, I left him alone and carried on playing the save. I explored by the helicopter wreck, a logging camp, killed some druids, no idea if its connected to what I did before I came back to him. Hopefully he gets fixed.

I noticed after the offering quest in the caves that all druids in and around that area are hostile and that I am trespassing now. Mother Jago isn't hostile though. Seems like a bug with the map.

Lol, yeah it's a bug. When I traveled to Jago's mother and to Joyce Tanner's bunker, he became friendly again. I guess you just have to change the location and go back. There will be a location reset

Or just kill him and take all the stuff you need, he is not connected to any quests I don’t think

He's allied with the Druids, so when you kill Druids he turns on you.

what stuff is this? All the traders i come across sell rubbish literally that you can easily acquire in the world....

they share there agro tho,
if there between yellow and red he will be too if they go to red (combat) he will too
he has not lost his marbles yet, but the infection still runs deep in his blood

i ignored them completely. I did pick em for the achievement, thats all.

I assumed he went feral.

He has some voice lines like "Get out of here! I don't want to hurt you!" And "if you're smart you'll run and never come back!"

Maybe he is just allied with the druids. It wasn't an issue before though so I thought maybe it happened after you traded so much stuff.
