Stealth is impossible

Playing it on game pass. Never able to do stealth because they could see you miles a way even if you are above them. Have try to sneak from side where NPC couldn't see but they immediately notice you as soon you near them and stealth option immediately cancelled. This is on default (challenge) setting.

The UK people have become mediums because the radiation, it seems, so they can see you even through walls. I was lucky I tested the game with Gamepass before buying it in Steam.

Explore again and again, you will eventually unlock new skills, no more problems with infiltration once you choose the right skills.

Have no issues with Stealth.. you can literally sit in some grass and they wont see you.
But also not had any issues approaching people from behind..

These are just the outlaws really not sure about those blue glowing things..

Stealth less an issue, at least the game has the cool mechanic of being able to throw your weapon, but IDK if there's insta-kill if you can headshot an unaware mook.

I have been able to sneak up on them no problem, skill issue, get gud

My issue is getting anything done at all. Everywhere I go, including where I'm supposed to go, has gangs of enemies who I can't sneak around and who kill me in seconds. I try to sneak past but then I'm left with a cricket bat and 3 bullets. All the resources are guarded. Seems like a mismatch of what I'm supposed to do and what I'm realistically able to do.

you can run through most anything if you need. just keep strafing and use the kick mechanic to gain distance if needed. The AI will lose you really really fast

Emmm .... the sneaking is lowest end token stealth Ive seen. Skill issue my friend.

The game makes it pretty clear that stealth is only a part of it, it's also a lot of "de-escalation", just keep a wide berth and keep moving, most outlaws, druids will hesitate, stop, and simply slowly aggro, (of course protocol with skethermore you are better doing some stuff for Sims so that you're not trespassing there) by the end if you've upgraded your stamina and quiet movement when you're traversing places like Castlefell Woods or Slatten Dale just sprint past mobs unless if your goal is to go in their strongholds.

It is possible but it’s very time consuming, don’t bother. Fight or flight.
If you have problems fighting, drop the difficulty one notch.

After unlocking stealth skills, have found it fairly easy take out patrols as they tend to spread and walk in single file, just approach from behind and use quiet takedown

Same here stealth is fine even without perks

Try peaking ur head around a corner while stealthed, they instantly see u and get aggro immediatly and then u have to run for ur life... even with upgraded stealth skill which does nothing but make u make less noise so u can sneak past them when they r not looking at u.... The moment they look at u, even if ur like 100 meters away, and in the grass i might add, they see u.... when u get to the zombies area u can even forget stealthing.... if 1 gets active, they all get active and they hit like a truck... run and run fast and far so they loose aggro and then shoot from a distance is the only way to go with them.... Stealth is very badly done in this game..... i'd prefer fallout and skyrim stealth over this, at least there it works.
And starfield stealth since they patched it....
