stealth is very strange in this game
The enemies are superhuman on intense difficulty. If you take down a dude around the corner, the dude half a block away hears you and runs over to snap target you. Whats the deal? Am i missing something? is stealth just not viable on intense difficulty?

There is a skill upgrade that will make your takedowns silent. Until then, on intense, yea it's gonna be rough.

Continue exploring and you will be able to access other skills (reduced footstep noise, execution sounds make less noise, etc.)
They enemies just keep spawning and they are always nearby. I literally uninstalled the game from gamepass just of this fact.

How is it I can clear 10 enemies in an area and when I go to loot them, I keep getting enemies from half way down the map seeing me and initiating combat again which wastes resources. Then when you kill those additional guys and it's time to loot, here comes more.
Like GTFOH. I don't want a game that keeps respawning enemies over and over, that's just annoying. Give me a map, place your little enemies and let me take them down and move on to the next area... there is no reason to respawn anything as I am trying to move through the landscape and the game... respawning just pads the game and makes you move slower.

The "melee range stealth" is not always viable, people suggesting to use skills simple not understanding them or play on lower difficulties.

The skill reduce the noise of takedown enemies is really situational and useful only inside closed area where enemies don't have line of sight of you.

The other skills are even more useless, footstep noise can easily removed activating walking speed when crouching, so take it only if you have extra points.

So if you want to stealth in general you can do it only in "dungeons", if the level design is adapt to it, outside depend on how much bugged are the spawn of the enemies and how much of them spawn around you.

I've set the difficulty to the easiest for now. I can't see the enemies, but they can see me even when I'm behind cover. I get it, that might be realistic, but it's a game. In game logic, if I can't see them, they shouldn't see me. It's annoying.

stealth in this game is wonky without skills.
The core problem tho is the AI pathing is just ATROCIOUS in the starting zone. Just go into a grass patch far away and snipe headshot with a rifle. Dont even bother with stealth out of the bunker. The badguys will always be bunched up. Always covering each other and never near a grass patch unless there are 37 of them staring right at you.
Also the game straight up spawns mobs on you if you try to savescum.

This really isnt a stealth friendly game earlygame.

you need to move slowly, sprinting or running, even crouched, will alert nearby enemies. and if your bpm get too high, they can hear that as well

That makes no sense lmfao. I'm happy I won't be bothering anymore.
