0 issues with the game..
You're not gonna want to hear this but the majority of gamers don't care about Denuvo. Most of them, aren't aware of it. Why? Because they care about playing games and having fun.

They don't go out of their way to find dumb reasons to avoid playing games they want to play. They don't do that, they just play the game and have fun.

You can choose to be scared of a DRM and think its going to kill every game it touches but its not, at all, not even close. All thats happening is you're depriving yourself of a game you want to play and blaming anything other then yourself.

If customers being against Denuvo didn't affect their bottom line, Irdeto wouldn't spend so much time and money trying to redeem their reputation. But as some reporter put it at PCGamer "What on Earth did Denuvo think was going to happen? You might as well try to rehabilitate scabies."

Just this week, two more publishers decided to cancel their plans of using Denuvo after the backlash. EA just released their second single player game in a row without Denuvo after 12 years using it on almost everything.

The European petition clamoring for regulation of DRM and the ownership of games reached the required threshold in seven countries, mobilizing half a million people. That's not something you just handwave, not if you want your words to have some weight in this conversation.

Everything indicates that people do actually care and that you're the one which is in denial about being in the minority - but whether you'll be able to hear that remains to be seen. :clickbutton:

Game pass did more to convert pirates than Denuvo et al ever will. Just like Netflix did once upon a time.

Just eventually game pass will go to sh*t like Netflix and we end up right back where we started,

sad indeed, would have already bought it if not for D...shame

I'll never in my life understand the denuvo complaints. They either want to pirate the game, or think big brother is going to take control of their PC and find their "homework" folder.
Almost forgot the third group, super old PC hardware that tanks performance if you run anything besides the game.

It's funny how people keep saying this game should be an example of amazing optimization, however they use Denuvo, which people sweat up and down is the cause of bad performance. Something just doesn't add up, pirate bros.

So maybe you two single brain cells can combine your thinking power and explain why someone like me with Game Pass Ultimate is not installing or playing this game, with a pc that has never had performance issues with denuvo.

See this crap? This user can't even play the game (Soul Hackers 2 in this case) THEY PAID FOR!
And yet people DEFEND this?!

Game looks interesting. Added to wishlist, but instead of instant buy, wait to hope Denuvo is removed later. So many sais we are crybabies, but to me it's simply the fact pirates gets better optimized games than us buying it. I don't pirate anymore, but I'm not supporting this either. Like others here I have personally experienced different lag issues with Denuvo games before and will never support it again.

Games with Denuvo seem to underperform in sales more and more often. Wonder if there could be any correlation?

So tired of this subject either way. Denuvo = no sale. Forever and always.

Not sure how, I have no issue with the game or it's performance. Plays fine for me. Maybe cause I'm on gamepass but I would assume Denuvo behaves just the same there.

Not for the pirates lol
I mean, generally when you stick Denuvo in your game it means that as soon as it's cracked, pirates will get the better performing version of the game. It's just ass-backwards because it makes many paying customers wait to buy until they can install a crack for their legit copy of the game.

Denuvo is not intended to prevent piracy, it is intended to delay cracked versions to appear right away, so the money from launch sales is made by the time the pirated versions are out.

In a lot of cases Denuvo is removed after the launch sales are done as it achieved it's inteded job, so people who say "Would have bought it if no Denuvo" can buy it then.

In a way, if people who crack and pirate games would have the decency to wait a few days after a game is released, Denuvo would't be needed.

Personally, I also never had any prformance issues with a game that had Denuvo in them, games that had Denuvo with performance issues had issues regardless of Denuvo and usually got performance fixed within the first few days (hours sometimes) of release.
