Aww thats too bad that you let the internet mob convince you to be scared of Denuvo.

The rest of us will just ignore it and play the game because it literally will have zero effect on your experience. Infact, if i put two versions of the game infront of you, one with Denuvo and one without, you couldn't tell the difference.

Thats one of the many examples why crying over Denuvo is so stupid. You don't have to like it, you also don't have to let it control which games you play. You should be an adult and make the choice yourself.

Wait until you have to pay for accessing the options menu, sound menu, controls menu. And other features like ray tracing, AA, AF, etc.

This is what things like Denuvo will lead to. Don't believe me? Look at DRM. It didn't used to exist. Now its in every game. You may think that you don't pay for it but the cost of DRM is passed onto the customer just like tax is. That's how these companies get rich.

I mean, generally when you stick Denuvo in your game it means that as soon as it's cracked, pirates will get the better performing version of the game. It's just ass-backwards because it makes many paying customers wait to buy until they can install a crack for their legit copy of the game.

but atleats this game is not have bad performance.... RTX 3070 everythink ultra 4K 60 FPS non stop. So Denuvo in this game not have big deal for performance

Capital BS. And Im honestly done with explaining this to every smoothbrain toddler. There is tons of videos and info that proves Denuvo absolutely DOES effect performance. Learn to google and stfu already.

Whats really stupid is comments like this. People dont cry or whine about Denuvo, people just dont buy games with it. And that is objectively a problem for publishers, since they loose money.
So saying Denuvo kills games is very much justified, it definitely is one of reasons (not the only one tho) why AAA game industry is slowly dying.

Empress is pretty much gone. for over a year now even. if i remember right doxxed and legal issues? could be wrong about the reason.

Empress was the denuvo cracker FOR codex.. so with empress gone. codex doesn't crack denuvo either.

There are other older groups that still crack. Shows what you know

except i've had over the years multiple times now have put 2 versions before me. where the one without denuvo ran noticeably better. so that's an utter lie.

Rebellion has demonstrated over and over again that they can not be trusted to remove Denuvo from their games. Even after it's been bypassed by pirates meaning customers are stuck with a inferior version for no damn reason.

Yet another Rebellion release I would've bought day one full price. Look at my account. I'm good for it.

I didn't move the goal post. You didn't refute anything. You just spouted or regurgitated information that I already know. Just because I didn't say that Empress is gone doesn't mean I don't know that. Do you even know what just happened?

It's anything but: Denuvo's adoption rate on Steam is below 0.2%. Last year, only 30 games used Denuvo over the 15k Steam releases each year - among them, more than 500 AA and AAA. The best part? For the past decade, the top seller has almost consistently been a DRM-free game: Baldur's Gate 3, Palworld, Elden Ring (not DRM-free but no Denuvo there), Valheim, Hollow Knight, Hades, The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077...

Denuvo users are a tiny minority of companies with a long history of anti-consumer practices. In last year's Steam top 100 best sellers, DRM-free games outnumbered games with Denuvo three to one. By your own logic, DRM-free is more of a standard than Denuvo ever was.

Bonus fact: According to the numbers from VGI, Baldur's Gate 3 - a notoriously DRM-free game and 2023's top seller - generated as much revenue in 2023 alone than the five next games with Denuvo combined. (Source: VGI[imgur.com])

I'm relatively sure, 10 hours after the release and not even hitting 5k players on Steam, that they're going to remove it within a year. As an addition, it isn't a billion-dollar publisher that does it just because they can throw money on Irdeto.
I just buy it (hopefully bug-free) and with a nice discount in a year.

Guys, be smart just wait.

Bad news : Rebellion confirmed that they won't ever remove Denuvo from their games.
