Anyone know how to remove stamps from the map?

Hover over the stamp, and the option to remove it will appear, it's the same button, you just need to get the text to change to remove stamp

For anyone else coming to this stuck, I found that you can't remove them if you're current location marker is in the same space. Moving several feet from the spot solves this and the text will then start changing to 'remove marker'.

Also note that if you remove a marker (wrong icon chosen for example) you will need to move the cross hair away and back again before being able to place the corrected marker.
