I really think in this day and age, we should have gotten over the videogame trope of "Arrows are a one use item"...

I mean, the game literally has arrows sticking out of dartboards and corpses but when WE use arrows? They magically vanish.

C'mon Devs, you can do better than that...

Every video I have seen the arrows could be picked up again. Did they change it?

Not sure mate, I had 17 arrows before I found a bow. Used 3 on the first guy I saw. Used another 2 on the next, after that I went looking for them and couldnt find them.

Shot the walls and the bodies and arrows just vanish.
Yeah I had 12 arrows now I, down to 5. Only had 2 or 3 that I was able to recover after shooting them. I get it arrows can break irl but if they want that in game it should roll a D 100 on the shot to determine if it breaks or not.
this happens in a lot of games but theres sometimes skills that allow them to be picked up again

might be a bug of course
if a video shows people picking arrows back up, then it would be a bug
I pick up about 75% of the arrows I shoot into enemies so idk what's up with your game. They appear sticking out of the corpse or can be looted from the menu
Do they break on contact with armour?
Arrow pickup (along with many other things) is affected by the Difficulty setting - lower or tweak the difficulty setting and your problem will be resolved....sheesh peeps, look through the settings before whining/

And you have quite considerably missed the point. Losing an arrow on use isn't a 'difficulty' setting. Like I said in my original post, it's a trope that should have died a long time ago.

Arrows not breaking after one use should be DEFAULT not some arbitrary difficulty setting.

Arrows with a % to break on use makes perfect sense and a really easy solution to 'balance'.

Care to share with the audience the SPECIFIC setting you're talking about? Because I've been in the settings. Arrows aren't mentioned once :)

it's funny because you seem to be quick to bemoan people that have issues with games, being as patronising as you possibly can. And yet when you have an issue you could have easily worked out for yourself (there seem to be a lot!) you come straight to the discussion groups begging for help :D
