Anti-aliasing doesn't work
I used the 4080S to run the game and it performed well at 2K resolution. But the game's anti-aliasing doesn't work and the edges of the screen are always flickering because of aliasing.
What should I do to fix this problem?
Wait for the first day patch in 3 days?

Can confirm putting res scale to 150% on my end fixes most of the jaggies. I just hope a patch fixes AA because default it was shimmering and so jaggy. This is on 2560x1440p max settings.
Same issu,e seems easly that its not enabled(even on Ultra, its exactly the same as off), 4090 9950x3d win11

This engine don't support TAA so aliasing will be always here. Only way to improve it is resolution scale at 150-200%.

No.

Or post a video showing otherwise.

Everyone has the same terrible aliasing, unless if cranking up the res. scale, and even so that still isnt great.
I certainly hope that's not the case, and if it is, I'd love to understand the problem, but more importantly the solution. In no way am I discounting that there are some having this issue, just trying to find the common thread here, and so far, nobody rocking an AMD card has come forward claiming to have this problem. As for the resolution, I'm at 4k, with scaling at 100%.

This was my first screenshot in this game, and I thought it looked so good that it needed to be my background. If you see it, please let me know. Then again, I'm an appropriate distance from a 4k television, so maybe that's it.

Out of curiosity, wouldn't SMAAHQ work just fine in this engine? SMAA would clean up the edges, but not apply a sub-optimal blur (or sharpening filter to counteract the blur)? Plus it would not come with all the undesirable caveats of incorporating TAA.
i just think its an engine limitation and theres not much we can do ingame to fix it

outside the game you might be able to force dsr or dlaa in nvidia control panels, or amd equivalents

I have an AMD, 5950X.

Its hard to believe if I have to be honest, not only I have a high end rig, but I also have spent enough time on the forums to confirm that everyone has this terrible aliasing regarding of their config…

Your screenshot does look nice, but that’s the thing with aliasing, you don’t see it on screenshots.
I'm not discounting that, I'm simply pointing out that out of everyone that has responded so far except for one person on discord with a 9070XT (immature drivers), so far everyone having this issue is running an Nvidia GPU.
On my RTX 4080 the AA not work :/

Really sorry to hear that. Add another Nvidia owner to the list.
I can confirm that AA does not work on my 7900XTX. No difference between any of the settings. I'd ask all the AMD guys to notice a difference between AA settings, if there is one.

I'm running 25.3.2.

If you're still and not moving, you don't see it. If you're moving at looking into the distance, you can see weird AA problems on grass the most. It's very bad, and honestly distracting. Other than that, the game runs very well. Best optimized game I've played in years.

7800xt and yeah. The AA is bad unless you set the resolution modifier to 150% at 1440p.

Playing at 4k and I thought it looked at bit jaggy for 4k ultra. Great frame rates though. Anywhere from 90 up 180. Almost a 120 cap with a wee tweak. I think the other AMD guy hasn't noticed.

Yeah, plenty of shimmering especially at at distance.

Looks and plays fine in 4k on a 4090
