feel sorry for those people that need someone to play games with.
what on earth would they have done in the 80s?
Multiplayer beyond co-op is a detriment. It takes functionally not much more effort to make a game able to be played with 2-4 players utilizing P2P as opposed to just making it single player. The game should be made as a single-player experience with barely any real time spent shoving 3 more players into it. Don't even bother "scaling" things for players, that isn't necessary nor wanted. These games already have more than enough resources for 1 person many times over so just plopping 3 other people into the world should cause no real problems.
Even if the feature doesn't work great, you just include that in the description of the game as a disclaimer and you're golden.
It's 2025 and there are still people that want archaid multiplayer in games? It's not 20th century any more and people should get on with the times. Single player is the only mode games should include and only way games should be played, ever.
