Denuvo Anti-tamper = No buy
Title

Have fun playing board games/staring at the wall, as virtually all games use Denuvo. Get used to it, or get a new hobby, as it 'aint going away.
You're funny. This year only 30 games used Denuvo, 45% less than last year. There are above 15k games releasing on Steam every year, among them more than 500 AA and AAA.

You could literally play good games for years without touching a single game with Denuvo.

The best part? The top seller for any given year this past decade has always been a DRM-free game.

I had it in my wishlist since it was announced. Now it's in my Ignore list. I would be so very sad if I didn't have so many other games to play. :steammocking:

+1, why play a game that wont perform at its fullest meaning i need a better hardware... and that basically mean pay at-least double for this game at the same performance than i would without their middle finger to the paying customer - An really easy no thx.

That said the initial drm implementation in this title looks like its done with some care looking at benchmarks compared to many trash devs/pubs implementations, that said it could be far less so at any patch adding another variable that could only go the negative way.

Its up to each one however where they stand, but seems more and more are joining the "I don't like to be treated like a criminal when paying" club each day

Denuvo = Dontbuyo :cleanseal:
Brev. If your potato can’t handle it don’t buy it. Really doesn’t bother me if there’s an anti piracy thing in it. It’s not going to hurt you.

Yep and it's Rebellion so Denuvo will never be removed, at least since it's Rebellion it'l be a day one gamepass launch.

That is my major problem with it. I dont mind waiting for it be removed cause i usually wait for sales anyway but they never remove it so ill never play their games. I really wanted to try a sniper elite game but never have cause they keep that anti consumer malware bundled with their games. Almost all the top selling PC games in history are DRM free.

I dont get why they think they need it, absolutely brain dead.

I couldn't tell you if a game has Denuvo or not, I've never noticed it.

Seems like the only people with a problem with DENUVO are the one's that don't want to buy it but wait until it gets cracked and bootlegged on one of those torrent sites.

This is the laziest, more cringeworthy response to concerns about intrusive DRM.

Find a new talking point, you're boring the paint off the walls.

Neither do I -- because I document myself and never buy them...

I do not understand how Steam allows additional launchers and anti-tampering protections that hurt only the people that actually PAY for the games... complete madness!

Will have to wait for the game to be on GOG with all the DLCs eventually in the future I guess. Win -Win!
If it has Denuvo, It is a no buy for me.
"Advanced access" = no buy.

No, I'm not. I've enough money and interest to buy it day one. But I don't buy until Denuvo is removed.

There is no need for singleplayer games to require an internet connection. This dev has yet to remove Denuvo from any of their dead, old games. The day this dev or Denuvo goes under will be the day those games will be unplayable. Companies and DRM schemes come and go. if it wasnt for crackers back in the day we'd have an entire swath of unplayable games today from old DRM schemes that went under. You essentially paid for a limited time access product.

Exactely. It's not about the DRM itself so much, as it is for the fact that they treat us as criminals. And as a criminal in their eyes it is my upmost duty not to bother these fine gentlemen with my disgusting criminal money.
Same. Just saw this was launching this week so figured I'd give things a look. Will keep it on the wishlist and check back in a year or two to see if Denuvo is removed.
Denuvo usually gets removed after sometime, usually 6 months or so. My MAIN issue with Denuvo is that it DOES have an effect on game performance.
