Wald is pretty easy to play.
and cheap too lol
She's a decent pick. While having short reach, she's got enough mobility to compensate for it. She has viable mix-up options and plays pretty smoothly. You do want to explore which block-strings are safe though, because her specials are pretty easy to punish on block.
?
Correction, she's somewhere in the middle regarding reach. Her buttons reach further than Mika, Akatsuki or Enkidu, but she can be outpoked by Gordeau, Phonon or Hilda. She can punish long pokes with 214A. 214C is projectile-invincible and reaches further than Orie's 41236C.
I can relate with this.
Chaos for his Pet.
Hilda because, she will never give you the basics and has incredible bad defence.
And Yuzus execution requirement is very high.
The rest should be fine. I personaly played years back Uniel and learned the game with Eltnum, later I played Yuzu.
Now I'm back to Eltnum, cause it is just to much fun to shot people in the face.
And comboing into Airthrows is in general a fun idea.
Some characters that would be considered "newbie accesible" may get you better results earlier but that's it. In the end you should always go for the ones you like regardless. If the character you choose is too hard or complicated for you then you won't like playing it anyway. So just follow your heart.
