Can't grab magazines with my left controller trigger.

I used to play vail from time to time since the time you had to request access to play. Stopped playing for a while since it was so difficult to find games for a long time. After the quest port, I started playing more often and 4-5 hours into it, my left trigger won't be detected in-game to grab magazines or shoot. Tested in multiple games, like Ghosts of tabor which has the same "trigger to grab magazine" functionality and it works fine, shooting too. Then I came back into vail to test maybe using community controller layouts and it only made it worst, making the game continuously grab and release the magazines. The weird thing is, it starts happening a couple games into the play session. Restarting the game, steamvr, or even my pc, does not help. It only fixes itself after not playing for hours and coming back; and again, a couple games in... it stops working.

My finger tracking is detected(I use Valve Index controllers) and the trigger is working as well(I can physically see it work in game). The only problem is, I cannot grab magazines or shoot guns with my left hand.

I have gotten used to simply reloading with my right hand, by hold the weapon with my left hand and reloading with the right hand(even feels cooler lol). But it is still a problem with secondary weapons and also a bug that should be fixed. Is there a known fix for this?(Pardon me if I do not reply, I have never used Discussions before)

Not for me at least... I do have a vague memory of it possibly being like that in the past though.
