Chapter 5 - statue not spinning

The statue with the markings isn't spinning on my game. I can hear it but I can't see it spin. Should I just request a refund?

Do you know how to check the integrity of your files? Sometimes a file or two (or more) doesn't get downloaded. This is a sometimes common thing when your internet connection may have had a hiccup and that could be causing your problem.

You right click the game title name in your library. Choose properties, then select local files tab. Then you will see the button for check integrity of files.

Did you ever figure it out? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I tried the verification. Anything work for you? I have the same issue

Nothing worked so I quit playing the game. I was disappointed.

I have the exact same glitch. It must be something in our save files since neither of those methods have fixed it, and I really don't want to start over this close to the end. Maybe I'll give it another go in a couple years, but most likely not. So disappointing.

I have the same problem, did someone find a solution?

I cannot really take a screenshot, when I click on the stone statue, I heard a spin sound, but visually nothing move and it's not just a visual update problem, when I leave and come back the symbols on the stone statue are at their original position.

you are probably missing a piece of it, hence my question.
Also try solve other puzzles that are open to you first, the picture that provides the clue needs to be studied , I think it's a trigger for this puzzle. So if you saw the clue in a prior playthough, you do need to find the clue again in this playthough.

So ye the problem was me, I was only trying to click on the spinning slabs, but not to click and drag horizontally on them.

That took me a moment to do as well, but I had already written down the solution, although the puzzle with the lasers totally had me and I had to look it up. I want to see more games like this.

Whoops! I feel a little dumb right now. Finding out that I needed to press and drag the stones took me reaching out to support, and getting a response back from one of the devs.

I'm looking forward to finishing the game. :)

That's on us Ceara_V, there is a sound playing when clicking the rotatable stone layers which was misleading some players into thinking they only need to click, however as you've found you do need to click, hold and drag them. In a future update we'll make clicks rotate one direction and retain dragging which lets you move the stones in either direction. Apologies for the confusion regarding the interaction on this one.
