check out the escape room and 1st-person point & click lists on puzzle lovers, maybe you'll find something there.

This was a lot of fun and funky. The puzzles may be a wee bit harder but there is help out there if you get stuck. Plus it has that fun cartoon-y style to it and it is on a big sale this week !!

(Ignore the video clips on the store page. I don't know what they are trying to do but that is not the game or style of play. Look at the reviews and screenshots and maybe some clips on-line.)

I've posted this on another recommendation discussion but check out the Puzzle Agent games. Although easier, they're just as fun and have the same vibe. Jazzpunk, as another person said here, is also great!

I know this is several months after the initial post, but I have just finished playing the Tiny Room Stories: Town Mystery and it reminded me a lot of Agent A so I came back to these boards to tell folk that haven't played it. Definitely worth checking out and it's currently on sale.

You're right, this game has a similar vibe. A bit quirky with some good dialogue. :diao:

Thanks for the suggestions, I will definitely check them out, it seems like they are also making another point and click adventure game

A little late, but https://store.steampowered.com/app/352520/The_Silent_Age/ is very good and the art style is kinda similar.

This is a very good suggestion. I too enjoyed this game a lot.
The Escaper looks nice. The Room doesn't have good controls but is otherwise fine.

The Escaper was enjoyable and The Room is beautiful to look at. The Room reminded me of the trouble I had playing Myst where you had to back out of a scene a step to turn and see what else was going on around you. It was more of a meditative game which required careful observation on my part not to miss anything.
yeah. The Myst Franchise can be really tricky sometimes but generally has better puzzle design than The Room 1-4
