Is this playable with 6 players?

Description is kinda blurry for me because it says "play with up to 5 players".

So is it's 5 including myself or me + 5 other then?

Typically, when a game says "play with 5 players", that means it is a 5-player game . Terraforming Mars, for example.

I've heard of people playing the physical game with 6 players (Which sounds agonizing to me, but, to each his or her own), but it's not possible on the digital version.

Wouldn't most of the cards in the deck be useless?

The game doesn't scale well to 6 but works well for 2-4 players. 5 is ok.

It is a great game (the board game) so I encourage you to give it a try if you have not yet, but NOT THIS version, which has been terrible since release. There are better digital versions that are free to play.
