Android and iPhone Friends cant find each other

I have a couple friends that bought TM for android phones and I have an iPhone. We are trying to find each other on the phone apps to start a game but we cant. We have tried looking for each other using our names to no avail. Suggestions?

Terraforming Mars uses the Asmodee servers to player match - so make sure everyone has an Asmodee account at Asmodee.net (It's free), friend each other on the Asmodee site, and then you should be able to find each other.

Mind you - I've never used the TM phone app, but that's the way it works with every other Asmodee digital game I own.
