look, i do admit that it's smart to browse reviews of a product before buying it and it's not that smart to make a 'blind' purchase.
but a) i simply am not used to a game being bugged THIS bad. i don't play that many different digital games and the games i play, usually work. moreover, even the base game for TM worked pretty okay in my opinion
and b) even if i had known about these issues, that still wouldn't make it okay that a basically unplayable game is being distributed here and i feel it also wouldn't take away from my right to be dissatisfied
Because, it's a cycle that only exists if careless customers contribute to the problem.
The company has decided it's not worth the money to fix the problems. They have decided the amount of additional money they will make by fixing the problems is less than the money they will have to pay their programmers to fix the problems.
Their decision is validated by the people who keep buying the game despite the blatant disregard shown by the company to the loyal fans of the game and to the authenticity of the game and its proper rules.
The only thing that will make the company actually care about posts such as yours, and all the dozens of posts I've written and other people have written?
Fewer people buying the game, such that the company actually starts to lose money because of their indifference to the quality of the product.
In the meantime, there's a fully functional web-based version with all promos and expansions.
Additionally, Board Game Arena has a version of the game in Alpha testing at the moment.
