It's a very serious bug.
That's why I scored so many points in my first two games.

same for me - it seems the first time each round we increase temperature or oxygen there's 2 increases counted on TR side (with sound effect included), from round 2 onward.

I was waiting for the DLC to be released. I play only solo. But now I can't play, because it breaks the game - it's not only points, but also income.

The bug is also in normal (not-Solo) games

This completely explains my ridiculously high scores in recent solo games, as I've been getting 11 TR bumps for free—this bug is game breaking!

I guess a way to play in solo with this bug would be to keep some unspent money at each round :
  1. 0
  2. 0
  3. 1
  4. 3
  5. 6
  6. 10
  7. 15
  8. 21
  9. 28
  10. 36
  11. 45
  12. 55
  13. 66
  14. 78

And you would also need to remove (rounds-1) on your TR for final score and to play any card with TR as prerequisite.

(I just played a solo game like this - having the list above helps)

Please fix this ASAP- breaking the solo game like this is kind of an absurd bug to release.

Even without using the Venus Next option, it appears that Corporate Era cards are no longer included in any solo game?!?

Seems to me we used to have the choice to select Corporate Era cards on the bottom right in the Project box - but it has disappeared / has been replaced by Venus option...

There is no "choice" for solo mode. Solo mode must have the corporate era cards. If there ever was a choice (I do not recall ever seeing such a choice for solo mode), it was an egregious error. As it is now. where apparently they are not included.

well, with latest patch 2.3.0 , we don't have these issues anymore : Corporate era cards are included in Solo mode, and we don't get free TR with Solar phase.

Did they fix the card-peek exploit/cheat ?

I did not realize there was a new patch. Was there a patch release post?

I[ was] not getting a Solar Phase at all when playing solo using either TR63 or raise all four global parameters to maximum.

EDIT: Now I am, so seems it was a glitch that has resolved by reapplying the Venus Next settings.
