BUG: Dirigibles Card does not actually spend floaters

The Venus Card dirigibles does provide a discount, but doesn't actually spend the floaters.

Worked fine for me. You did realize you had to manually spend the floaters (like steel / titanium)?

Was cundav saying that the spent floaters are not being removed from the card?

Sounds like it, but for me it removed the floater fine. Maybe he played a card that added floaters or something? It rarely happens that a card works for one player and not for another.

True.
It's quite possible we will see a lot of bug reports that may be a result of players being unfamiliar with how the Venus cards work.

Just observed this in a solo game. It was pretty funny being able to play a bunch of free Venus cards that draw more cards.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me, along with a hard AI as Celestic never using their corp ability (not even to put a floater on the corporation card)

I also encountered this. I had 7 floaters saved on Dirigibles and tried playing Giant Solar Shade. I expected there would be a control for reducing the cost with stored floaters similar to what one sees with steel or titanium, and there was none. Card could only be played for full cost.

Confirmed this as well. I was playing Celestic, and with 10 floaters on the dirigibles all Venusian cards was free to play. 'Fun' in single player, but could be devastation online.
