BUG ? - Research Outpost on Noctis City

Was playing Research Outpost, tried to place it on the Noctis City space, and the game allowed it. That should not be possible if i understand the rules right, right?

Yes you are right, no tile except Noctis City should be placed there :(

The AI put greenery on Noctis City in my game.

Is this happening on the steam version or on the Epic version?

Some with the republic corp that has the "Place city on 1st round", you can put it on Noctis city

I got a feeling it's on the epic version. I got that version and it seems to have a couple of very nasty bugs.

I have version 1.4.0 on Epic. With 3 AI, the Noctis City space is usually illegally used before the end of the first generation.

This is happening for me too. Pretty poorly programmed. It lets you put anything on the Noctis Hex

Who is going to see it on an Epic forum?

Besides which, this is how I learned that Steam has a different version without these bugs. For all I knew, the versions were the same and the game had this bug since release.

Also, Steam users get to know what to look forward to...

Ugh. I hope this silly new update version on Epic isn't actually going to be released as the newest steam version !??? But I suppose that would be par for the course.

Thanks for giving this game away for free... but holy moly the amount of bugs... This thread as an example, I think I saw pretty much every single game so far myself or someone else placed something on the noctis hex, that is not a noctis city.

If giving away the game for free is an attempt at making me buy DLC... Nice try but no thanks...
At least "surviving mars" was a proper finished game, no idea why they gave that away for free, but I defo bought the DLC for that one, excellent game that. Found no bugs there.

EDIT: After reading more replies it turns out Epic has a different version than steam? Why the F would epic have a different version that is more bugged? Makes ZERO sense??

They will be releasing a DLC on Wednesday and the Version on Epic is the current Beta with the content of the DLCs locked. There will be a patch in two days where this bug will be fixed (as well as many others).

Can't say how many new ones will be introduced though as they have a scary track record of doing that.
