How do you save the game?
Playing a local game against AI opponents. Cannot seem to figure out how to save the game.

no action needed. It automatically saves. The next time you load the program, the unfinished game will be in your saved games and you can "resume" playing.

Only that that doesn't work. It always reverts to the original state at generation 1.
New player here, bought it yesterday, so this isn't a problem with older gamefiles.

Oh damn. That's yet another new glitch then. In the past, simply exiting to the main menu during an in-progress local game would add the game in its current state to the list of games seen when clicking "resume".

Makes sense that it is problematic now, since many people have reported losing all their in-progress saved games.

Does it work for you? It only takes a minute or two to check that, would be nice if anyone could do that and confirm if it's just me or a bug that needs to be adressed

I'll check in a short while - I have an active game at gen 11 that is interesting and I do not want to risk losing it.

I DID experiment with the "cards played" window, and for whatever reason, that glitch (that soft-locks the game when that screen is opened for many players) does not affect me on my ipad. In fact, it never has.

Even the bugs and glitches are not consistent from one player to the next.

Yes, I am able to exit to the main menu and save the local game in progress. I was able to "resume" in the usual manner. It did take a long time to load, but they seem to have added a progress percentage on the bottom right, and when it hit 100%, the game loaded properly right where I left it.

Okay, now it works after I registered. It's odd that savong local games against AI opponents requires an account, but meh.
And it was crucial that I could save because there was another bug where the skip/pass button disappeared, it only showed up after returning to main menu and reloading the game. What a buggy mess ...

How odd.

The moment I log in to my account to try to play an online game, the app locks permanently, becoming unplayable in any way, and I must completely uninstall and reinstall if I wish to play a local game again.
