Incorrect Rules
Even with the Prelude DLC there are still some rule errors.
The corporation should not be chosen blind. The player should be allowed to see their project cards available in their hand before choosing their corporation.

Events bearing the research icon should be included in the tag count.

You can change your corp after looking at project cards.

Any tags on event cards do not count.

For game effects that count existing tags, already played event cards are NOT included. Those cards are placed face down and their tags were only active while the particular event was being played.

you can currently: choose a corp., choose your prelude cards, see the 10 cards and go all the way back up to change your corpo. and change your selected prelude cards. this comply with the rules: you don't see them all together on the same screen, but rather 3 steps that you can go back and forth from...

Thanks for that. My mistake.

From the rules: "Events (red cards) are collected in a personal pile face down after being played. Their tags only apply while being played."

Notably, science tag events trigger "when you play a science tag" effects, space tag events can be paid for with titanium, discounts to earth cards apply to earth tags events, and if an event were to reference tags, its own tags ARE counted during its resolution.

However, once an event has been resolved, the card should be treated as a generic "event that has been played" and no longer has any visible tags and text, and even can no longer be viewed by other players (you can review what events you have played, and how many events have been played by each player, but not others' played events' details aside from number played). They have no influence on any players game play until the end of the game when any VPs on played events are added to the point totals.

There are game effects that count the number of events played, but that's it.
