Are the developers/Asmodee Digital embarrassed?
This game was a long time in the making, and after a much hyped up release, there have been non-stop reports of dozens of game-breaking bugs. They've made an effort to fix them but there hasn't been any sense of contrition in their posts or any attempt to compensate the consumer for selling us a faulty product. Surely, when the Fryxelius team play-tested they were horrified by this corruption of their franchise game, yet their silence has been deafening too.

They are shameless...

It's a bit criminal that they released the game in this state at the price they did. I can't get a refund for this, but I won't buy another game from these developers.

Embarassed, problably.. Overwhelmed.. Certainly! At least so I'd assume. I wonder if they knew that this challange would be too great for them when they accepted it though. Maybe they just tried to fool Fryxelius with fancy pictures and promises? Anyhow, for the time being, it is CLEAR this game is way past the scope of Asmondee Digitals competence. Their protocol for exchanging information in online games is mind blowingly ancient and faulty.

It's hard to say. Did Asmodee pressure LuckyHammer to push this out the door? Then it's on Asmodee. If LuckyHammer told them it was ready to go, then it's on LuckyHammer.

They are NOT doing a good job of promoting / propping up this admittedly cottage/niche industry (designer boardgaming). The end result of their digital BGs seem to indicate their business model is: pay the cheapest possible price for development, design ONE code base and push it across all platforms, acquire a near monopoly on BG licenses, keep on keepin' on, rinsean repeat. I have purchased several of their games, and honestly, $2.99 seems about the right price for what we actually get. Anything more than that, I'm a nope on from this point out unless they SERIOUSLY change their business model.

edit: Honestly, at this point, I'd rather just give $50 - $60 dollars for the actual board games, because honestly, the relailers, merchandisers, and publishers are at least doing their jobs correctly.

I think someone at the top / in charge at Asmodee needs an intervention.

After 3 unsinished games I just feel robbed. I think in 2018 it is unacceptable that a freshly aired product allowes cheaters IN a BOARDGAME adaptation to use dusty old cheating tools... Disappointed. Haven't spoken about the karma loss...

Yeah I mean comon. Coding up this game could not have been rocket science. Did anyone play test this before release?

Let us save people and write about the bugs and other things at: https://www.facebook.com/pg/TerraformingMarsDigital/reviews/?ref=page_internal

The game is crippled with bugs for sure, being in the software industry myself I would be curious to know how it could have gone this bad. Moreover the after sales is so poor, this kind of situation would have required a weekly patch... at least to keep faith for the players...
♥♥♥♥ happens, but not communicating and not trying to clean the mess is not accepteable...
I do feel cheated.
